Privacy notice
This site collects one thing, from people who choose to give it: an email address, so that we can tell you when Pawnborn's pre-alpha and beta open. This notice says exactly what happens to it.
What we collect
- Your email address, only if you type it into the notify form and tick the consent box.
- The fact that you consented, and when — because the law that binds us (Canada's anti-spam legislation) requires us to be able to show it.
We do not ask for your name, your age, your location or anything else, and the form has no other fields.
What we do with it
We send you at most two emails: one when the invite-only pre-alpha opens, and one when the beta opens. That is the entire purpose. We do not run a newsletter, we do not send marketing sequences, and we do not email you to say we miss you.
What we never do
We never sell your address, never rent it, never trade it, and never share it with anyone outside the service that delivers our email. It is not used to build a profile of you and it is not used for advertising anywhere.
Tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party analytics. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising network, no social widget and no font service — every asset on every page is served from this domain. The only thing stored in your browser is your choice of light or dark theme, which never leaves your device.
Where it is kept
Addresses are held by Board Night Inc. and by the email delivery provider we use to send the announcements. They are stored no longer than necessary, and the whole list is deleted once the announcements it exists for have been sent.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from any email we send with one click. You can also write to us at any time and ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — and we will, without asking why. The address is support@pawnborn.com.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect addresses from them. If you believe a child has signed up, write to us and we will remove the address.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that affects what we do with an address already given, we will say so in the email we send rather than quietly editing this page.
